League rules
Paul & Max vs. Beth & Aiden. Two teams, eight stars each, one running total.
Roster setup
- Draft: Two teams split the 16-dancer cast evenly, drafting 8 stars each.
- No roster management: Every surviving star scores for your team automatically each week — no benching, no lineups, no free agents.
Weekly scoring
- Judges' base points: 1 point for every judge point awarded on air (a 24/30 is 24 points).
- Perfect score bonus: +5 points for straight 10s from the panel.
- Challenge bonus: +3 points for winning a Dance-Off, Relay or Dance Marathon.
Advancement & eliminations
- Elimination: A star stops scoring once they're voted off.
- Top 8 (Quarterfinals): +10 points per surviving star.
- Top 6 (Semifinals): +15 points per surviving star.
- Top 4 (Finale): +20 points per surviving star.
- Mirrorball champion: +35 points to the team owning the season winner.
Double & non-elimination weeks
- Non-elimination weeks: Nothing changes. Everyone keeps scoring their judges' points and bonuses.
- Double eliminations: Both stars stop scoring immediately. Milestone bonuses are paid to every star who survives the episode that first takes the field to that size — so if a double elimination drops the cast from 10 to 8, the Top 8 bonus is paid that week.
Winning the league
- Season total: All weekly points and milestone bonuses accumulate into one running total. Highest combined score after the Finale wins.
